Ordering Policies

Submitting Your Order:
  • Last minute orders are welcome.
  • Orders placed within one week of arrival are subject to availability.
  • Fill out the online linen rental order form completely.
  • All submissions must include detailed written delivery directions from a main road. Please secure said information from your rental agent or rental homeowner before submitting your online linen rental order.  It is important that you be sure to include detailed delivery directions as this is the only resource that we have to find the home where you will be staying.
  • Incomplete order form submissions can delay delivery.
Pricing and Payment:
  • All prices are per item/per week.  Sheets and towels are priced individually - not as sets.  All sheets are flat - no fitted.
  • There is a $20 minimum on all orders
  • No credit issued for unused or early return.
  • Orders must be prepaid.
  • All orders MUST be entered online and processed using a credit card. All orders that are processed manually by an agent of Takemmy Linen Rental are charged to a $20 processing fee.

Confirmation:

  • All orders submitted online will be confirmed by an order number and an order acknowledgement to the email address you provide us.
  • NOTE, if you have placed your order online and have not received an email confirmation of your order, please contact our office at The Airport Laundromat at 508.693.2788 x4.

Change Orders:

  • ALL modifications to your order requested within 72 hours of your scheduled delivery date may be charged a $20 change order fee. Please email us all change orders and be sure to note the 7 digit order ID provided when you placed the order online. All order changes will be credited or debited accordingly.
Cancellation Policies:
  • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Refunds are not issued for cancellations with less than 72 hours notice.

Delivery Policies

Disclaimer:
  • All linen will be delivered to the address submitted to us. We are not responsible for omissions, or errors, on the part of the customer. Often, house numbers do not appear on the house or at the entrance of the driveway. Therefore, we request that you secure and submit detailed written directions provided by your rental agent or homeowner. We will make every attempt to deliver the linen to the correct house. If your address is ambiguous or you neglected to provide us with detailed written delivery directions, you may want to check the home adjacent to the one you are staying to locate your linen rental order.

Delivery charges:

  • All deliveries, including turnovers, are charged $25 delivery fee.

Delivery Restrictions & Conditions:

  • Takemmy Linen Rental does not deliver Up-Island: West Tisbury, Lambert's Cove, Chilmark, Aquinnah, or on Chappaquiddick. If you are staying in any of these locations and wish to rent linens, please select the pick-up/drop-off option when ordering.
  • Orders may be picked up at The Airport Laundromat after 10am daily.
  • Orders may be picked up after regular business hours. Please contact Takemmy Linen Rental by calling 508.693.2788 x4 from to make arrangements
  • All Chappaquiddick orders must be picked up from and returned to the Chappy Ferry Boathouse porch on the Edgartown side of the ferry.
  • We cannot guarantee a specific time of delivery. All deliveries will occur between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. During peak weekends, some deliveries could arrive as late as 8:00 p.m.

Shortages, Packing Errors, General Problems:

  • All shortages, packing errors, or problems should be reported within 24 hours of delivery to receive a timely remedy.

Returning Your Linen:

  • If your linens were delivered, a Takemmy Linen Rental route driver will pick up your linens on your scheduled day of departure. It is not necessary to wash them first. All linens must be bagged and left outside of the home you are staying by 10:00 a.m., in an obvious location such as a front porch, front step, or driveway. Failure to have your linens ready for pick up on time will result in a $20.00 late fee.
  • If you picked up your linen at The Airport Laundromat, you will need to drop off the linens at The Airport Laundromat. If The Airport Laundromat is closed you may leave linens in the grey cart to the left of the building between the Coke Machine and the Red Cross drop box. Please leave the copy of your order form in the bag so we know who to credit. Failure to return your linens on time will result in a $20.00 late fee.

Missing or Damaged Linens:

  • You will be charged for any missing or damaged linens.
  • Replacement costs per item are as follows: Dish Towel $2.00, Wash Cloth $2.00, Hand Towel $3.00, Bath Towel $7.00, Beach Towel $12.00, Bath Mat $6.00, Pillow Case $4.00, Single (Twin) Sheet $12.00, Double (Full) Sheet $16.00, King Sheet $20.00.
  • Any lost or damaged linens will be charged to your credit card and an invoice will be emailed to the address you have provided.

Credit & Debit Processing:

  • Any credits or debits made in regards to your order are processed at the end of our rental season, and can be charged back only to the card used to process your original order.
